Teeing off with the New Zealand Open

The 103rd New Zealand Open presented by Sky Sport brought together world-class golfers from New Zealand and around the world, for the four-day Pro-Am competition.

Held at the spectacular Millbrook course in Queenstown, the competition also included emerging young players from New Zealand, Australia and beyond. We were delighted to partner with the New Zealand Open as the exclusive insurance provider for the event.

An unforgettable event

Held between February 29 and March 3, the competition was stiff, with Takahiro Hataji taking out the title.

“The atmosphere was electric, as the spectators enjoyed the great golf and the entertainment,” said Gallagher Insurance Chief Executive, Carl O’Shea. After recently adopting the Gallagher brand in New Zealand it was a great opportunity to see it showcased in this environment and have our team on the ground chatting with fans throughout the tournament, he commented.
