In collaboration with Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CA ANZ), Crombie Lockwood has recently joined the organisation’s Member Benefits Programme, and will offer advice and expert opinion on insurance matters to CA ANZ members.
CA ANZ Head of Strategic Partnerships, Alex Peasland, says that while membership programmes of this type for CA ANZ members are not a new idea, the value proposition that frames such programmes has needed to evolve in order to offer members genuine benefits.
“As a professional association we want to be able to offer our members something unique. A decade or more ago, it was perhaps a case of offering guaranteed percentage discounts on goods and services to members, but that was about the scope of such programme benefits.
“Today, I believe members of organisations such as ours look for other benefits beyond simple transactional opportunities, such as increasing their knowledge base on issues affecting the industry, or the chance to extend their professional network perhaps.
Alex says he is excited by the opportunities the CA ANZ partnership with Crombie Lockwood promises, such as the chance to educate association members on high-profile topics such as the growing cybercrime risk for example.
“I’m genuinely looking forward to collaboration with Crombie Lockwood. Whether it is through contributions to our association magazine, Acuity, or with expert presentations at CA ANZ conferences, I think there are some great opportunities for our members to gain better knowledge of pressing risk issues affecting the wider business community right now.”
With over 125,000 members across Australia, New Zealand and the world, Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand has seen consistent growth in recent years. CA ANZ offers advice, advocacy and professional development through education programmes, workshops and conferences to members.
It also offers its members access to the Member Benefits Programme. Through partnerships with leading banking, insurance and lifestyle brands, the programme offers benefits to CA ANZ members that aren’t typically available to the general public.
“When we look to onboard a new partner for the Member Benefits Programme, we make it clear that the opportunity is about more than simply pushing products. We look to our partners to be able to offer CA ANZ members help with pain points that might be hindering them professionally; it’s a much more collaborative approach. They are very much embedded in what we do for our members.”
